A new place is being worked on now and will open soon, after
hearing countless emails and sad stories of rescue dogs in a pinch needing a
place to go and boarding places charging so much We have decided that a RESCUE
ONLY BOARDING place was badly needed.
There will be room
for about 100 dogs, maybe more once we get all done we will have a better idea,
all dogs will be inside in a dog run or an open play area, and will get outside
play time 3 times a day, there is someone on the property overnight.
We hope that this
place will bridge the gap for dogs on the elist and rescues scrambling to get
them. We will offer pick up and transport to the boarding place for a $20 fee
from east or west, and we will do tick treatments on all dogs, temperment
testing, dog socializing, take pictures for you and more. Rescue will be able
to board long or short term, and we will allow potential adopters to come and
meet/adopt dogs there and can be there to assist in any way possible.
We have been working
on this place tirelessly and still have so much to do, but we are coming along,
sections will be ready to go in the next week or two, depending on how much
help we get.
This place will board
dogs ONLY for rescues so you will never have to worry about having to get the
dogs out for busy holiday weekends or anything like that.
Our swamp and ac units at this place need maintenance, and
we got a quote of $1800 to get it all up and running, if anyone knows anyone
who does swamp cooler work, and would be willing to work with us on cost please
have them contact me, ALSO here are a few other things we need if you know
anyone.
Paint, any colors
Someone with a paint sprayers to let us use, or that would
do the work
a handy man
Electrician
Dry walling
Pretty much anything to do with building, or remodeling.
WE NEED CHAIN LINK
PANELS, we have some but need ALOT more!
